Status: The Breeders have had several lineup changes over the years, but core members Dayton’s sisters Kim and Kelley Deal are currently working on the band’s new album using the lineup that made the album a hit, ” Last Splash” (1993).

Style: electro punk

Status: The band was planning to sign a major label deal when tragedy struck in May 1997. Brainiac’s career was cut short when singer-guitarist Tim Taylor died in a car accident a few blocks from his Dayton home.

Status: Although guitarist Casey Calvert died in 2007 and drummer Eron Bucciarelli and lead guitarist Micah Carli left in 2014 and 2015 respectively, Hawthorne Heights remains active. Founding members, vocalist JT Woodruff and bassist Matt Ridenour, continue to keep the band on the road.
