The Udsen family of Castoro Cellars donates yet another part of the Whale Rock Music and Arts festival proceeds to TIMBA. December 6, 2021 (Templeton, CA)
December 8 – Whale Rock 2021 was the 8th edition of music and the arts festival orchestrated by the Udsen family from Castoro Caves, this year’s event brought together around 3,000 people each day, as well as a donation of $ 31,770.46 to Templeton Instrumental Music Boosters Association (TIMBA). The Udsen family luckily handed over a check to TIMBA conductor David Landers and a Templeton High Music Student on Thursday, December 20, 2018
As dedicated supporters of the local community and A longtime lover of music and the arts, the Udsens donate a portion of Whale Rock’s proceeds each year to a local charity. The total currently exceeds an incredible $ 150,000; past benefactors include Templeton Education Foundation and MUST! Charities.
TIMBA is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit parent volunteer organization that supports musicians at Templeton High School by enhancing their learning experiences and providing additional resources and opportunities that may not exist. other. Whale Rock has grown significantly over the past 8 years and will continue to do so, with 6,000 participants over two days in 2021, bringing together 16 groups on two stages, as well as collections of local artists, yoga for all ages, crafts and games for children, Wines Castoro Cellars, local craft beers, spirits, ciders and food trucks, all in a family environment.
